ParityEdge Privacy Policy

ParityEdge is designed so that you never have to worry about end-user data collection. We do not store, log, track, or resell visitor IP addresses, browser fingerprints, or personal profiles. All geolocation classification occurs ephemerally at the edge point-of-presence (PoP).
1. Edge Lookup Telemetry & Data Processing
When a visitor loads a web page integrating the ParityEdge SDK or API, our edge workers receive standard HTTP request metadata (including the client IP address and headers).
- Ephemeral Execution: The incoming IP is inspected in ephemeral isolate memory strictly to resolve the ISO country code (e.g.
IN) and Autonomous System Number (ASN). - Immediate Discard: The IP address is immediately discarded after the sub-2ms lookup and is never persisted to databases, disk logs, or analytics storage.
- Aggregated Counters: We maintain aggregated monthly lookup counters per Project ID to enforce subscription quotas without tracking individual visitors.
2. Account & Customer Data
For registered customers managing ParityEdge accounts, we collect and store only the minimal necessary operational data:
- Account Credentials: Your work email address and authentication tokens via Supabase Auth.
- Configuration Data: Project names, whitelisted domains, discount percentages, and custom coupon codes.
- Billing Information: Payment processing is handled directly by Stripe. ParityEdge does not store full credit card numbers or banking credentials.
3. Client-Side Browser Storage
The ParityEdge client script (parityedge) stores minimal state locally in the user's browser using localStorage:
- Banner Dismissal State: If a user closes the localized pricing pill or bar, a boolean flag is stored to avoid showing it repeatedly during that session.
- Zero Cross-Site Tracking: We do not set cross-site tracking cookies, third-party advertising identifiers, or analytics beacons.
