ParityEdge Terms of Service

Agreement & Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, integrating, or creating an account on ParityEdge ("Service", operated by ParityEdge Inc.), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company or legal entity, you represent that you possess the full legal authority to bind that entity to these conditions.
Lookup Quotas, Tiering & Fair Usage
ParityEdge provides dynamic purchasing power parity lookups and seasonal discount injection across global edge points of presence. Subscriptions include defined monthly evaluation quotas:
- Hobby (Free): Up to 5,000 edge evaluations per month for testing and single-project validation.
- Starter ($12/mo): Up to 25,000 edge evaluations per month across up to 3 active projects.
- Pro ($29/mo): Up to 150,000 edge evaluations per month, unlimited projects, custom themes, and global occasion & holiday sales presets (Diwali, Black Friday, Pongal, Lunar New Year, Ramadan).
- Scale ($79/mo): Up to 600,000 edge evaluations per month, unlimited custom seasonal campaigns, priority edge synchronization, and dedicated 99.99% SLA.
When a project reaches its monthly evaluation limit without pay-as-you-go overages enabled, edge gateways automatically fail-open to your original, unmutated base price. Your storefront and checkout will never crash or experience downtime due to quota exhaustion.
Domain Whitelisting, Scraping Defense & Abuse Prevention
To protect your monthly evaluation balance from unauthorized third-party consumption, you agree to:
- Domain Whitelisting: Whitelist only domains owned, controlled, or contracted by your organization. When domain restrictions are enabled, edge gateways strictly verify incoming
OriginandRefererheaders and reject unauthorized headless scrapers. - Prohibited Conduct: Refrain from attempting to bypass edge quota tracking, falsify telemetry events, reverse-engineer proprietary edge algorithms, or launch denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks against our Anycast network.
- Deceptive Pricing Prohibited: You must not use ParityEdge to publish artificially inflated baseline prices or deceptive discount claims that violate applicable consumer protection regulations in your target markets.
Global Regulatory Compliance & Geo-Pricing Disclaimers
Pricing laws and consumer protection standards vary across international jurisdictions. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for ensuring your pricing strategy complies with all local regulations in the territories where you market and sell:
Under EU law, traders may not discriminate based on a customer's nationality or residence within the EU Single Market without objective commercial justification. ParityEdge allows merchants to treat the European Economic Area (EEA) as a single unified pricing zone to guarantee complete compliance. Merchants operating in the EU are responsible for configuring their tier assignments accordingly.
When advertising price reductions, European consumers must be shown the previous lowest price applied during the prior 30 days. ParityEdge delivers regional promotional coupons; merchants must accurately describe discounts as geographic promotional incentives.
ParityEdge evaluates strictly coarse, aggregate macroeconomic purchasing power parity tiers at the country level (derived from World Bank and IMF economic indicators). ParityEdge does not conduct individual consumer behavioral profiling, browser fingerprinting, credit scoring, or algorithmic tracking.
Merchants must honor all advertised discounts, present transparent total checkout amounts prior to transaction authorization, and refrain from hidden fees or deceptive currency representations.
Merchant Tax, VAT & GST Collection Responsibilities
ParityEdge is a pricing technology provider, not a merchant of record or tax advisory service for your business. You remain exclusively responsible for:
- Configuring tax and VAT/GST collection rates through your payment processors (e.g. Stripe Tax, Lemon Squeezy, Paddle).
- Remitting all applicable value-added taxes, digital service taxes, and sales taxes to regional taxation authorities.
- Ensuring that localized currency conversions and checkout displays reflect statutory tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive requirements in each target country.
Subscriptions, Payments & Prepaid Boost Credits
Paid subscription plans and prepaid evaluation boost packs are billed in advance through our certified payment processing partners. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. Non-expiring prepaid boost packs ($1.00 per 10,000 evaluations) remain permanently active in your workspace balance. You may cancel your subscription at any time with immediate effect on subsequent billing cycles.
Service Level Agreement (SLA) & Edge High Availability
ParityEdge targets 99.9% uptime on standard subscription tiers and 99.99% uptime on Scale and Enterprise tiers, powered by multi-datacenter Anycast edge redundancy across 330+ points of presence. In the event of an upstream incident, edge nodes fail-open instantly to protect your checkout continuity.
Limitation of Liability, Indemnification & Contact
To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, ParityEdge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ParityEdge Inc. from any claims, regulatory penalties, or liabilities arising from your pricing configurations, tax disclosures, or merchant storefront representations.
